Antique pink tea cup and saucer. The volume of the cup is 75 ml, so it is either for strong tea or coffee.
Saucer of ancient shape. Deep as a piala. Because it was fashionable to drink tea from a saucer as well.
Decor by the method of transfer printing, with the traditional pattern "Faith, Hope and Mercy".
These sets were usually made in the early to mid 1800s, often by Staffordshire potters.
Good vintage condition. There are factory inaccuracies - there is a lump or unevenness inside the cup that occurred during baking.
Found in Amsterdam in the shop of the legendary Lady Dorothy.
